In this course, I spent the semester developing a fully interactive video game using Unreal Engine, focusing on storytelling, animation, and user experience. Our final project brought a beloved world to life — a SpongeBob-themed adventure with one ultimate mission: find the Krabby Patty formula.
I was responsible for building and designing the entire game scene, sourcing and integrating 3D assets primarily from Sketchfab to create a cohesive, playful environment. I also developed the intro cutscenes, which helped establish the mood and storyline before gameplay began.
Throughout the project, I wrote all the character dialogue, injected humor to match the tone of the show, and created idle animations that brought each character to life. The game ends with a high-energy chase sequence with Plankton — a fun and chaotic finale that tied everything together.
